About Me

Hello! My name is Dakota, I'm a nonbinary trans girl in my late 20s, and I have a litany of hobbies and interests, which I hope to document on this little site of mine! But we'll discuss that down below.

I'm currently a part-time grocery store employee, and getting a masters degree in Political Science. So, needless to say, I have a lot of opinions. Perhaps too many for my own good!

Hobbies

Hiking

Hiking, and outdoorsy stuff generally, are among my favorite and most consistent hobbies! I tend to go on a lot of day-hikes, as my local area has a great metroparks system with a lot of dayhiking opporunitie, but I've also been canoeing and camping before as well, though not anywhere near as frequently as I would like.

Cooking

I love cooking! It's fun, it's a creative outlet where I get to experiment with things on a whim, and see what works, and I get to eat it at the end! Lately I've been really into using my wok. I got a nice carbon steel wok for christmas a couple years ago, and it's been one of my most-used kitchen implements as of late.
